About Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Glycoprotein G Recombinant Protein
Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is an enveloped, negative-sense single-stranded RNA virus belonging to the genus Orthopneumovirus in the family Pneumoviridae. The G glycoprotein is one of the two major surface glycoproteins of RSV and is responsible for viral attachment to host cells during the early stage of infection.
