About Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Fusion Glycoprotein Recombinant Protein
Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is an enveloped, negative-sense single-stranded RNA virus belonging to the genus Orthopneumovirus in the family Pneumoviridae. The Fusion (F) glycoprotein is a highly conserved viral surface protein that mediates fusion of the viral envelope with the host cell membrane, enabling viral entry and cell-to-cell spread through syncytium formation.
