About Rabies Virus Glycoprotein (G) Recombinant Protein
Rabies virus is an enveloped, negative-sense single-stranded RNA virus belonging to the genus Lyssavirus in the family Rhabdoviridae. The glycoprotein (G) is the only viral surface protein and is responsible for host-cell attachment, receptor binding, membrane fusion, and viral entry.
