The Envelope (E) protein is the major surface glycoprotein of Zika virus (ZIKV) and plays a critical role in viral attachment, receptor binding, membrane fusion, and host cell entry. As the principal structural protein exposed on the viral surface, the E protein is the primary target of neutralizing antibodies and is widely used in studies of viral pathogenesis, vaccine development, and diagnostic assay development. Because of its high immunogenicity and essential role in infection, the ZIKV E protein has become one of the most important antigens for flavivirus research.
eEnzyme's Anti-Zika Virus Envelope (E) Protein Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody is raised against the full-length recombinant Zika virus E protein (aa 1–504) and specifically recognizes the viral envelope protein. This antibody is suitable for applications including Western blotting, ELISA, immunoprecipitation (IP), antigen detection, vaccine evaluation, and basic flavivirus research, providing a valuable tool for investigating Zika virus biology, host immune responses, and antiviral therapeutic development.
