About Anti-p24 (HIV-1/Clade A) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
The HIV-1 p24 capsid protein is one of the major structural proteins of the virus and is generated by proteolytic cleavage of the p55 Gag polyprotein during viral maturation. p24 forms the conical viral core that encapsidates the viral RNA genome and associated replication enzymes, making it essential for viral assembly, maturation, infectivity, and early stages of infection.
