About Elite™ cADP-Ribose Assay Kit (Fluorescence)
Cyclic ADP-ribose (cADPR) is a potent intracellular calcium (Ca²⁺) second messenger generated from NAD⁺ by ADP-ribosyl cyclases such as CD38. cADPR regulates intracellular Ca²⁺ release primarily through ryanodine receptors, thereby influencing numerous physiological processes including immune cell activation, insulin secretion, muscle contraction, neuronal signaling, and cell proliferation. Dysregulation of cADPR metabolism has been implicated in cancer, inflammation, metabolic disorders, cardiovascular disease, and viral infections, making it an important biomarker for cell signaling and drug discovery.
